12 Day excursion with ahmed

1. Day Settle in
Ahlan wa Sahlan – a heartfelt welcome in Hurghada!
We pick you up at the airport and accompany you to your hotel; the transfer time is approximately 20 minutes.
Check-in and depending on the time a small meal. Make use of the time and spend some time at the private hotel owned beach, have a bath in the Red Sea and let the Egyptian sun pamper your skin!
In the evening an oriental show together with your dinner is awaiting you at the hotel.

2. Day Hurghada – The Bride of the Red Sea
After breakfast you can spend the morning at the private hotel beach, having a swim in the Red Sea and lounge in the sun.
Later in the afternoon we set out to explore Hurghada, you will be able to enjoy the panoramic view and learn about its history. We will visit the biggest and most impressive Mosque in Hurghada and get some insights into Islam, the main religion in Egypt.
Moving on we will pay a visit to the Fish- and Vegetable markets – called “Souk” and stroll through the old town, El Dahar, which is very traditional. Finally, we will enjoy a nice dinner a Shisha bar before heading back to the hotel.

3. Day Ride to Cairo
After breakfast we will hop on the bus heading to Cairo where we will arrive after approximately after 4.5 hrs during the afternoon. Check-in at the hotel and time to get a rest.
Later this afternoon we will explore Cairo – the 23 million metropole – at its best. We will pay a visit to the old Souk Khan el-Khalili and the citadel of Saladin – one of the very few preserved fortresses and an iconic monument in Cairo. After dinner we will head back to your hotel.

4. Day Pyramids and trip to Siwa
Today we have an early start. After breakfast we will visit the Pyramids of Giza and we go inside the middle one as well. There we will have time for a meditation and to recharge your batteries with the special energy of this meaningful place. Blockages can be dissolved and allow your energy to flow freely again. Full of energy we enjoy a lunch near the Pyramids before heading to the Oasis of Siwa. It will take us approximately 7.5 hours by car with a 30-minute break.
We expect to arrive around 08:00pm and one of the first things in Siwa will be to enjoy a cosy bath in the hot sulphuric waters – amid the golden dunes. What a treat for your body and soul!

5. Day Salt Cave and the white desert
After breakfast a Bedouin is awaiting us; he will show us around the old town of Siwa whilst telling us its history. After the tour we will visit Cleopatras bath and between 11:00am and 01:00pm we will indulge in the saline lakes ourselves.
Next stop is at the Salt Cave where we have a full hour to enjoy the benefits salt offers on the immune, nervous, and lymphatic systems also reducing stress, besides energetically cleaning your spirit and soul.
At around 02:30pm it is time for a Bedouin lunch and around 03:00 pm we head to the great white desert where we will spend the night in a tent. Above us the dreamlike starry sky surrounded by pure nature!

6. Day A Day in the desert
Did the first shafts of sunlight wake you up? After breakfast camels will bring us from one wadi to the next one. The whole day is in the subject of various excursions – take potluck by what we have organized for you! Later in the evening we get back to the hotel in Siwa.

7. Day Siwa – Kairo – Aswan, one way
The drive through the desert brings us back from Siwa to Cairo. At Cairo airport we will board the plane for the one hour’s flight southwards to Aswan. Once arrived in Aswan we will check-in the Nile Cruise ship which is waiting for us and you have time to settle in.

8. Day Aswan and Nubian Village
We will spend the whole day in and around Aswan starting off with a visit of Philae temple and the Nubian Village. In the evening we will stroll and drift through the old town of Aswan. Overnight stay and meals onboard the Nile Cruise ship.

9. Day Cruising the Nile
Today the cruise on the Nile ship will be halted by the sightseeing of the temples of Kom- Ombo and Edfu only. Arrival in Luxor is planned in the early evening.

10. Day Bird’s eye view of Luxor
We get up before sunrise today and enjoy a unique hot air balloon ride which offers you the spectacular view of the awakening landscape from a bird’s eye view and you will be greeted by the first rays of sunlight this morning.
Next stop is the visit of the Valley of Kings and the impressive temple of Hatshepsut. Our lunch will be served on a felucca which pleasurably cruises along the Nile as it has done for thousands of years already.
Later this evening a horse-drawn carriage will guide us through the old town of Luxor before we enjoy the Light Show at Karnak temple.

11. Day Return to Hurghada
Today we are heading back to Hurghada where we should arrive after a 3.5 hours’ drive. Check-in at the same hotel as at the beginning of our trip. The rest of the day is at your disposal.

12. Day Paradise Island
After your breakfast we have organised an excursion to Paradise Island by boat for you. Paradise Island is part of Giftun Island offshore Hurghada, a small piece of paradise – ideal for water activities like snorkelling, swimming with dolphins or have fun on the banana boat.

13. Day Home- or onward journey
Either you are heading home today, or you have extended your stay in a nice hotel. Either way we are more than happy to organise your transfer – just let us know in time.
